Research Interests

My interests broadly lie in the realm of human-centered AI, specifically in making tech that is accessible and customizable (and fun!) for all. A few areas of interest for me:

Serious Games
  • Gamifying treatment of cognitive-communication disorders and oculomotor dysfunction post-brain injury
Customization of Assistive Tech
  • Creating customizable voices for TTS, specifically with gender-expansive folks in mind
Adaptive Design
  • Dynamic adjustment of therapeutic serious games using ML and eye tracking based on cognitive load and treatment progression

Outside of academia, you’ll find me playing video games or tabletop games, meandering through nature taking photos of the local flora and fauna, hanging out with my cat, or volunteering in wildlife rehab.
